Hi, I am Jill.
A mum to a cheeky little girl and a gentle giant greyhound. Life with them, and my husband, is happy, silly, and sometimes a little chaotic in the best way.
I’ve always loved taking photos, but motherhood changed the way I see them.
Time feels different now. Faster, softer, and more precious, and that’s what led me here.
You’re probably like me, the one taking most of the photos in your family, but rarely in them. That’s why I’m here, so you can be in the photos too.
I’m not here to make you stand perfectly or say cheese. I’m here to photograph your family as you are, the shy ones, the chaos, the laughter, the big and small emotions, all of it.
I photograph you being in the moment with your favourite people, following your rhythms, and documenting your everyday life at home.
You can simply be yourselves and let kids be kids. No awkward posing, just real connection and real love.
One day, you’ll look at the photos and relive it all again and again.
I can’t wait to get to know you and your family.
J xx
The Story Behind My Camera
(or simply… why this matters to me)
I’ve always been the “good” one.
A good daughter, a good student, following the path that made sense and led to good grades and a stable job.
And for a long time, I thought that was enough.
But somewhere along the way, I realised I was living a life that looked right on paper,
yet didn’t quite feel like mine.
Growing up, I was always drawn to creative things. Singing, drama, crafting, photography.
The kind of things that made me feel something.
But I never really saw them as something I could hold onto, let alone build a life around.
So I let them go, gently.
Tucked away somewhere I thought I’d never return to.
It wasn’t until I became a mum that something shifted.
Time started to feel different.
More fleeting, more tender, more precious than I had ever known.
And with that came a pull.
To slow down, to notice more, and to hold onto the moments that would otherwise slip away.
So I picked up my camera again.
Not just as a hobby, but as a way of seeing.
A way of remembering.
A way of coming back to myself.
This isn’t just about photography for me.
It’s about building something that feels honest and meaningful,
something that reflects the kind of life I want to live.
I’m growing this dream slowly, gently, in a season of life that is already full.
And maybe one day, when my daughter is older, she’ll see this.
Not just the photos, but the choice behind them.
That it’s okay to begin again.
To choose a different path.
To create a life that feels like your own.
For me.
For my little sunshine.
“Photography became my way of holding onto time — and now, it’s my way of helping other families hold onto theirs.”
Jill can turn your everyday moments into a lifetime treasure.
I capture candid, documentary-style images that feel warm, honest, and deeply true to you.
My approach is gentle and unhurried, noticing the small gestures, the soft laughter, and the tiny hands that never stay still.
I’m here for the moments that unfold naturally, the quiet in-betweens, the sun-soaked cuddles, the way your child reaches for you without thinking.
These simple, everyday moments often become the memories you will treasure most, and it’s an honour to preserve them for you.
